Terms & Conditions

When planning to hire a trailer, please read the following information which is aimed to inform you of what is expected.

 

*The hirer must produce two forms of identification. This has to be photo card driving licence along with a recent utility bill, bank or credit card statement all stating your name and current address. 

*All hire charges must be paid for in advance, via bank transfer. Invoices are provided. Cheques are not accepted.

*It is at the responsibility of the hirer to satisfy all legal requirements, such as your license, weight limitations, safe loading and trailer safety.

*The hirer will inspect the trailer and sign for its condition on collection.

*Damage and differences to the agreed condition on collection will result in the hirer being charged extra costs, from when the trailer is assigned until it is signed back by a staff member. 

*All hire trailers are provided with basic Hitchcock theft deterrent, full road lighting and a spare wheel.

*Insurance against theft, damage and accidents etc is the responsibility of the hirer, from when the trailer is assigned, until it is signed back by a staff member. 

*Any intention to take the trailer out of the UK must be stated when booking, with evidence of suitable insurance.

*One days hire is the equivalent to twenty four hours. 

*Document to confirm must be filled out upon arrival
